Uploading Lab Results

Upload your lab results and let ClapDiet analyze them for personalized nutrition insights.

Supported File Formats

  • PDF (recommended) - Most lab reports come in PDF format
  • Images - JPG, PNG, HEIC photos of your lab report
  • How to Upload

    On Web

  • Go to Labs from the main navigation
  • Click Upload Lab Results
  • Drag and drop your file, or click Browse to select
  • Wait for processing (usually 10-30 seconds)
  • Review the extracted values
  • Click Confirm & Analyze
  • On Mobile

  • Tap Labs in the bottom navigation
  • Tap the + button
  • Choose Upload PDF or Take Photo
  • Select or capture your lab report
  • Review and confirm the extracted values
  • Best Practices for Uploads

    For PDFs

  • Use the original PDF from your lab (not a screenshot)
  • Make sure the PDF isn't password-protected
  • Standard lab report formats work best
  • For Photos

  • Ensure good lighting (no shadows)
  • Keep the page flat and in focus
  • Capture the entire page
  • Avoid glare from glossy paper

    Making Corrections

    If something is wrong:

  • Click the field to edit
  • Enter the correct value
  • The field will be marked as manually verified

    Troubleshooting

    "Could not extract values"
  • Try a clearer photo or the original PDF
  • Make sure the file isn't corrupted
  • Try manual entry instead
  • "Unsupported format"
  • Convert your file to PDF or JPG
  • Some proprietary lab portal formats may not work
  • "File too large"
  • Maximum file size is 25MB
  • Compress your PDF or reduce image quality
