Contact Support

How to reach us, and what to include so the first reply is useful

2 min readUpdated Sep 3, 2026

Support is by email. There is no in-app ticket form, no live chat and no phone

line, so an email is not the slow path — it is the only path, and it goes

straight to the people who can act on it.

How to reach us

  • General: support@clapdiet.com
  • Billing and subscriptions: billing@clapdiet.com
  • Security: security@clapdiet.com
  • Privacy and your data: privacy@clapdiet.com
  • The Help screen in the app and the contact page both open your

email app addressed to the general inbox. That is all they do — no form and no

attachment is sent behind the scenes.

    What to include

Nothing is collected automatically, so what you write is all we have. The

difference between one reply and four is usually these five lines:

  • The email address on your account, if you are writing from a different one
  • Where you were — the web, an iPhone, an Android phone
  • What you did, step by step, in enough detail to repeat it
  • What happened, and what you expected instead
  • A screenshot, if there is anything to see
  • If there is an error message, copy the words exactly. "It says something about

a network error" and the actual text are very different starting points.

    Before you write

Two things resolve most of what reaches us:

  • Common issues — sign-in, uploads,
  • missing data, notifications

  • Search this help centre
  • If you are reporting something broken rather than asking a question,

Report a bug covers what to send.

    What we can help with

  • Getting back into your account
  • Billing and subscription questions
  • Something not working, or working wrongly
  • Questions about how a feature is meant to behave
  • Your data: what is held, exporting it, deleting it
  • What we cannot help with

  • Medical advice. We are not clinicians.
  • Telling you what to eat for a condition. ClapDiet can show you what your
  • results and your logs say; deciding what to do about them is a conversation

    with your own clinician.

  • Interpreting a lab result. The same applies, and it matters most here.
  • How long a reply takes

We are a small team and we do not publish a response-time guarantee, because we

would rather not promise one we cannot keep. Anything about losing access to an

account or to data is looked at first.
