Camera Permissions

For scanning to work:

Allow ClapDiet camera access when prompted

If you denied it, go to your device settings:

- iOS: Settings > ClapDiet > Camera

- Android: Settings > Apps > ClapDiet > Permissions > Camera

Tips for Better Scanning

Good lighting: Ensure adequate light

Steady hand: Hold the phone still

Clean barcode: Make sure it's not damaged or obscured

Right distance: Not too close, not too far

Troubleshooting

Camera won't open

Check camera permissions

Restart the app

Update to the latest version

Barcode not recognized

Try searching manually

Clean the barcode surface
