ClapDiet supports signing in with your Google or GitHub account for faster, passwordless access.

Signing In with Google

Go to the login page

Click Continue with Google

Select your Google account

Grant the requested permissions

You're logged in!

First Time with Google?

If this is your first time, we'll create a new ClapDiet account linked to your Google account.

Already Have an Account?

If you previously created an account with the same email address:

Your accounts will be linked automatically

All your data will be there

You can still log in with your password if you prefer

Signing In with GitHub

Go to the login page

Click Continue with GitHub

Authorize ClapDiet to access your basic profile

You're in!

What We Access

We only access:

Your name

Your email address

Your profile picture

We never access your code, repositories, or private data.

Unlinking Social Accounts

To remove a linked social account:

Go to Settings > Connected Accounts

Find the account you want to unlink

Click Disconnect

Confirm your choice

Note: If you signed up only with a social account, you'll need to set a password before unlinking.

Setting a Password for Social Accounts

If you signed up with Google or GitHub and want a password:

Go to Settings > Security

Click Set Password

Enter your desired password

Confirm the password

Click Save

Now you can log in with either method!

Troubleshooting

"Email already exists" Error

Your email may already be registered. Try:

Logging in with your password instead

Using the password reset option

"Authorization failed" Error

Make sure you're logged into the correct Google/GitHub account

Try clearing your browser cache

Use an incognito/private window
