General Wellness Mode

A higher fibre target, and a wellness score, nutrient balance and nutrient density on the phone

4 min readUpdated Sep 2, 2026

Listed as General Wellness on the web and Wellness on the phone. For eating well without a particular condition to manage.

What applying it changes

Your recommendations are rebuilt with a fibre target of 30 to 38 g a day. Nothing is added to your foods-to-limit list.

The phone screen

Open the mode from Diet Modes. The Wellness screen shows:

  • Today's Wellness Score, out of 100: the average of up to four factors, each scored where there is something to score. Water against your goal, calories against 2,000, protein against 50 g and fibre against 30 g. Before you log anything it reads Start Logging, and if your water goal is one to set with your clinician, that factor is left out rather than counted against you.
  • Nutrient Balance: today's fibre, vitamin C, vitamin D, iron, calcium and omega-3 against reference amounts of 30 g, 90 mg, 20 mcg, 18 mg, 1,000 mg and 1.6 g. A nutrient the app could not score today reads No data rather than 0.
  • Tip of the Day.
  • Quick Actions: Log Hydration, Log Food and Log weight open the matching logs.
  • Food Variety Challenge: aim for more than 30 different plant foods a week. The app states the challenge but does not count your plant foods; there is no per-food plant classification to count with.
  • Nutrient Density

  • Under Trackers, tap Nutrient Density.
  • Today's Density Score rates today's food by protein and fibre per calorie, against your weekly average.
  • Meal Density Scores rate each logged meal the same way, and Top Nutrient-Dense Foods shows reference foods scored identically.
  • On the web

The web applies the mode and shows the rebuilt recommendations. The score and density screens are phone-only.

    What it does not do

The reference amounts above are general adult figures, not your personal targets; your recommendations carry those. There are no focus areas to choose and no micronutrient priorities to set.
