Mobile App Setup

Get the most out of ClapDiet on your phone.

First Launch

Signing In

  • Open ClapDiet
  • Tap Sign In
  • Enter your email and password
  • Or use Google/Apple Sign-In
  • New Account

  • Tap Create Account
  • Complete the signup process
  • Follow the onboarding wizard
  • Initial Permissions

    ClapDiet may request these permissions:

    Camera (Optional)

  • Scan food barcodes
  • Take photos of meals
  • Capture lab documents
  • Deny if: You don't need these features
  • Notifications (Recommended)

  • Meal reminders
  • Hydration alerts
  • Lab result notifications
  • Deny if: You prefer no notifications
  • Health App Access (iOS)

  • Sync with Apple Health
  • Share weight, steps
  • Bidirectional sync
  • Deny if: You don't use Apple Health
  • Google Fit Access (Android)

  • Sync with Google Fit
  • Share activity data
  • Deny if: You don't use Google Fit
  • Personalization

    Theme

  • Go to Settings > Appearance
  • Choose:
  • - Light mode

    - Dark mode

    - System default (follows phone settings)

    Customize your dashboard:

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Tap Customize (top right)
  • Drag to reorder widgets
  • Toggle widgets on/off
  • Quick Actions

    Add widgets for quick access:

    iOS:
  • Long-press home screen
  • Tap + button
  • Search "ClapDiet"
  • Add desired widget
  • Android:
  • Long-press home screen
  • Tap Widgets
  • Find ClapDiet widgets
  • Drag to home screen
  • Shortcuts

  • iOS: Add Siri Shortcuts
  • Android: Add app shortcuts
  • Recommended Settings

    For best experience:

  • Enable notifications (for reminders)
  • Enable biometric login (faster, secure)
  • Enable offline mode
  • Set your timezone correctly
