Everything ClapDiet can send you, under Settings > Notifications.
Some switches on that screen do not send anything yet. They are listed here as
plainly as the ones that do, because a reminder you are relying on and never
receive is worse than one you were never offered.
What ClapDiet actually sends
Meal reminders
A reminder at the times you choose to log a meal. Turn the switch on and pick
the times; they run in your account's timezone, so they follow you when you
travel rather than firing at the old local time.
Water reminders
The same, for hydration.
Weekly summary
A digest of your week — what you logged, how it compared with your targets, and
what changed. It arrives by email as well as push, and this switch governs both.
Critical health alerts
The important one. If a lab result you upload is critically out of range, or a
medication you have listed interacts critically with something else on your
record, ClapDiet alerts you.
You can turn the push off. The alert is still written to your in-app
notifications either way, so turning it off means you will not be interrupted,
not that you will not be told. If you have never touched this switch it is on.
Quiet hours also hold a critical alert's push until quiet hours end — the
in-app alert is there the whole time.
Switches that do not send anything yet
These appear on the screen and remember what you set. Nothing reads them:
We have left them visible rather than removing them because each is planned.
Until one of them starts sending, treat it as off.
Quiet hours
Set a start and an end and ClapDiet sends no push between them. They are hours
rather than minutes — set 22:00 and 07:00, not 22:30.
whole day.
notifications, and a push follows once they end.
Push and email
Two switches at the top govern everything below them:
per-device, so silencing your phone leaves your tablet alone.
Your phone's own settings
ClapDiet cannot send you anything your phone has not allowed.
later you are asked once, when the app first wants to notify you.
If you declined, the in-app switches change nothing until you grant it back.
ClapDiet also respects Focus modes on iOS and Do Not Disturb on Android, and
does not ask to override either.
Not receiving something
since three of them send nothing yet.
